Congratulations on making the decision to get your licence. You've made the first step in becoming one of the many Australians who can legally drive.
Here at Solitude Driving School, we believe in teaching safe driving techniques that will not only get you a PASS on the test, but will give you the necessary skills to become a safe and confident driver.
We want to give you as much useful information and advice to help you avoid frequent traps and incidents that can occur on the road, sometimes without warning.
When should I book a lesson for myself, son or daughter?
We suggest you book in your professional driving lesson with Solitude Driving School as soon as you or your child has obtained a Learner Licence. We've found our students who have very little experience are more confident and learn a lot
faster if taught by an instructor rather than a parent or relative.
Do you have a female Driving Instructor?
Absolutely. Our School is owned and run by a female driving instructor. We understand that parents would feel more comfortable having their child taught by a female instructor. Angela uses patience and experience to explain

Is your car Dual controlled?
Yes both cars have dual controls
I am booking lessons for my child. Do you report back on their progress?
Absolutely! This can be done face to face or over the phone and I always write practice suggestions and areas that need more attention in the notes section located at the back of your child's Log Book.
Do you offer lessons on weekends?
Yes. And after hours lessons if required
Can you teach me in my own car?
Absolutely. If you are just starting out we recommend that you use Solitude's vehicle. Not only to make you feel at ease but also the dual controls assist in demonstrating how much or how little to use the vehicles controls.
How long do lessons go for?
You can choose a 1 hour or a 2 hour lesson, whichever suits
